2025 Elder Stipend Information for Native Village of Barrow Members

NVB Tribal Members

NVB ELDER MEMBERS

Elder members of Native Village of Barrow who were members as of December 31, 2024, age of 62 and over are eligible for a stipend. Elders who were enrolled after this date are NOT ELIGIBLE. For 2025 the stipend will be mailed as a one-time payment. Beginning in 2026, stipends will be mailed in quarterly payments.

To qualify, members must sign the Agreement and complete a W-9 form; the agreement is available online or at the NVB office, then either:

Forms be processed and paid as soon as possible. You do not need to reapply in 2026; the Agreement only needs to be signed once. However, if you change your address during 2025 or 2026, you must submit a new W-9.
