Realty

Welcome to the Realty Department of the Native Village of Barrow. We are here to assist our tribal members in protecting and managing their land rights. Our focus is on ensuring that Native Allotments and Restricted Trustee Deeds are handled with care and respect, preserving these valuable assets for generations to come.

What We Do

The Realty Department is dedicated to helping you safeguard your land rights. We offer a variety of services that cover everything from managing Native Allotments to navigating the complexities of land transactions. Our goal is to support you in maintaining ownership and rights over your land within the Native Village of Barrow.

Protecting Our Future

CollaboratE for Your Benefit

We work closely with the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) Alaska Region, the Office of Special Trustee, and other partners to provide you with comprehensive support. Our efforts ensure that your interests are represented in all land management and repatriation processes.

Current Projects

We are actively working on the Seawall Beach Erosion Project. This initiative, in partnership with the North Slope Borough Port Authority and the BIA, aims to protect our community’s coastline while keeping tribal members informed and involved in the planning and governance.

Looking Ahead

Our department is focused on improving our processes to serve you better. We are developing standardized procedures for land management and transactions to make our services more efficient and transparent.

Who We Serve

We are here to support tribal members who own or have inherited restricted trust lands or deeds within the Native Village of Barrow. This includes those with Native Allotments and interests in the USS 4615 Barrow Townsite.
